Grants and Sponsorships

Tantramar is proud to support local community organizations through its Community Development Grants Program (CDGP). This program offers financial assistance in the following categories:

• 2026 Operational Grant – Provides funding for local associations whose primary activities align with municipal priorities. Eligibility criteria must be met.
• 2026 Small Capital Grant – Offers monetary support for one-time capital or equipment purchases, such as building renovations, sports equipment, playgrounds, and other infrastructure needs. Eligibility criteria must be met.
• 2026 Special Events/Projects Grant – Provides funding for events or new programming opportunities within Tantramar. Eligibility criteria must be met.
• 2026 Sponsorship Grant – Supports local organizations with smaller donation requests as part of the municipal budget process. Individual requests or those outside the budget will not be considered.

Grant applications are due October 15th annually.  Applicants are encouraged to review the Community Development Grant Program guidelines before applying. For more details on the application process, please refer to the former Town of Sackville’s Community Development Grants Policy.

To submit an application, please use the appropriate link for your grant category. In an effort to reduce paper waste, applications should be submitted electronically. Grants are reviewed by the Municipal Management team, and recommendations are submitted to Municipal Council for approval, normally in February of the granting year.
