Road maintenance
Public Works is responsible for maintaining all municipal roads in Sackville and Dorchester. This includes regular upkeep like snow removal, pothole repairs, street sweeping, and signage. For roads outside of these core communities, maintenance falls under the jurisdiction of the New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI).
Parking
Public parking is available in key areas throughout Sackville and Dorchester. The town provides a mix of on-street parking and designated public lots near major facilities, parks, and downtown areas. Accessible parking spaces are clearly marked, and overnight or winter parking restrictions may apply in some locations. All public parking is provided free of charge.
