Join us Friday, March 6th for a SING-A-LONG with The Casual Choir Collective - all voices welcome!
If you to sing, join us for this free workshop. This special workshop is a pairing of Indigenous drumming and singing and Irish / Celtic shanty singing also with a drum called the bodrhan. Everyone is welcome and lyrics will be provided for this sing-a-long. This is not an instrument jam but a focus on singing so we will just have our lead instrument Indigenous drum from Matt Sanipass Bouctouche First Nation for pitch and keys and the Irish Bodrhan drum with Shelley Chase, so that voices are heard and featured.
No singing experience required! Children over 9 years are welcome provided they are with an adult and are able to sit / stand to sing with the group in an engaged way! Youth over 14 welcome without a guardian. We will sing for almost two hours with a break in the middle - please feel free to bring water, pop, coffee. This free workshop is part of our committment to community programming in Tantramar and is made possible by our partners in Tantramar municipality, The Government of New Brunswick Dept. of Tourism Heritage and Culture and our longtime supports at CN ! Thank you to all for making this possible.
