William (Bill) Tracy, a member of the Canadian Curling Hall of Fame, and winner of the Quebec curling championships in ’54, ’65, ’66, and ’68, took the team to the Brier Championships in ’65. Bill was winner of the Quebec Mixed Curling title in 1971, and played in the O’Keefe finals in Toronto and Saint John.

Tracy was considered one of the purest athletes ever to come out of Sackville, performing at provincial, maritime and national levels in hockey, curling, track, tennis, rugby, bowling, golf, speed skating and basketball.
