Sackville Farmers Market Moves to the TVMCC for Winter 2026

Beginning Saturday, November 1, 2026, the Sackville Farmers Market will move to the Tantramar Veterans Memorial Civic Centre (TVMCC) for the winter season.

After exploring several location options, the Municipality is pleased to welcome the Market to the Civic Centre and has been working closely with organizers to ensure a smooth transition for vendors, customers, and rink users alike.

The Market—operating as a paid user—will take place upstairs in the Lounge area, featuring up to 30 indoor vendors and 4 outdoor vendors. Outdoor vendors will be located at the bottom of the exterior stairwell and in the canteen staff parking area, while indoor vendors will be set up in the Lounge to the right of the main entrance, with possible overflow into the mezzanine.

Regular arena operations will continue as usual:

• All mezzanine windows will remain open to hockey fans who wish to stay warm while watching the games.

• The canteen will stay open during games and tournaments.

A parking plan has been developed to ensure a positive experience for everyone. Indoor vendors who are physically able will park behind the TVMCC, leaving front spaces available for other rink users. All accessible parking will remain available for those with mobility needs.

The Municipality is excited to support the Farmers Market in this new space and to help connect more residents and visitors with local farmers, producers, and artisans. We’ll continue working with both Market organizers and rink users to ensure tournaments and events run smoothly throughout the winter season.
