Tantramar Council is sworn into office

TANTRAMAR, N.B.: Tantramar has officially welcomed its new council. 

The new council was sworn into office on June 2 at the special meeting / swearing in ceremony in council chambers in Sackville. At the event, remarks were given, and awards were presented to Tantramar’s inaugural municipal council in recognition of their municipal service.

The following were sworn into office at the special meeting: 

• Debbie Wiggins-Colwell, Mayor

• Alyssa Greene, Councillor Ward 1

• Barry Hicks, Councillor Ward 2

• Haidee Robertson, Councillor Ward 3

• Tori Weldon, Councillor Ward 3

• Allison Butcher, Councillor Ward 3

• Josh Goguen, Councillor Ward 3

• Kristen LeBlanc, Councillor Ward 4

• Wayne Wells, Councillor Ward 5
