W. Wallace (Wallie) Sears

A former student of Mount Allison University, now retired from the Animal Pathology Laboratory, Wallie Sears has spent the past 54 years promoting sports in the Sackville area, involved in coverage of all sports in local newspapers, and a correspondent for regional newspapers and radio stations.

During the past five decades he has contributed greatly to the development of sports in numerous ways. In 1986, Wallie was recognized by the National Association of Basketball Coaches of Canada.
