RE: Forest Fire at Brooklyn Rd (DNR Name “Brooklyn”) - Extinguished

This is an update to TFS-2026-07.

Thanks to the hard work of the firefighters and DNR, the fire on Brooklyn Rd. has been extinguished as of 16:34 hours.

There has been no loss of structures as a result of this fire.

We would like to thank our Tantramar Fire Service (TFS) Fire Fighters (Sackville, Dorchester, and Point de Bute) and mutual aid partners (Strait Shores Fire, RCMP, and Department of Natural Resources).

No further updates unless required.
