Heather learned to curl in the junior curling development program in the 1980s at the Sackville Curling Club, leading her TRHS team to the school’s first NBIAA high school championship in 1989. From there, Heather accumulated several championships; including 2 NB Junior Women’s Championships, 1 National Junior Women’s Championship, 4 NB Mixed Curling Championships, 5 NS Mixed Curling Championships, 3 Canadian Mixed Curling Championships, and 4 NS Provincial Women’s Curling Championships. She has competed in 4 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, winning a bronze medal in 2011. Additionally, she has participated in the Canada Games, competed in the Canadian Olympic Curling Trials, and represented Canada on the international stage.
