At the age of 5, Sharon embarked on a competitive career as a dancer that would span 12 years and see her win many medals and trophies across Atlantic Canada. She began to teach Highland Dancing at 14, and reached a teaching milestone 50th anniversary in 2011. When it comes to Highland Dancing, Sharon has done it all — dancer, teacher, coach, judge and administrator.
