William (Bill) Milner

William (Bill) Milner began volunteering in hockey in 1963 and worked as assistant manager of the Sackville Legionnaires bantam program in 1965. By 1968 he was the operations director for the bantam level — a position he would hold for over 20 years. In 1971, he assisted with the committee that founded the Sackville Minor Hockey Association. Bill was very dedicated to Sackville’s minor hockey programs. He treated youngsters fairly and earned high respect from parents, players and participants. In 1978 Bill was awarded a plaque of recognition from the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association for his contributions to minor hockey
