Calling All Poets!
April is Poetry Month and we are proud to partner with Tantramar's own Poet Laureate Laura Watson for our 2026 poetry contest. Please attach the Poetry Month Contest Submission Form (found under Related Documents on the right), completed in full, with your poetry contest submission to ensure your poem is considered. Please limit your poem to a maximum of two (2) pages. Only one poem may be submitted per person. Poems should be typewritten whenever possible. Submissions must come from residents of the Municipality of Tantramar.
Deadline to submit is April 6, 2026. Please submit to j.ferguson@tantramarnb.com or drop off the poem to Tantramar Municipal Office.
Winners will be notified by April 24, 2026 and will be invited to an Open Mic event at the end of April to receive the award and share their work.
