Rod Squad - Fishing Gear Loan Program

Are you excited to experience fishing but you don’t have your own equipment?

The Sackville Rod and Gun Club, and the Municipality of Tantramar, are excited to offer the Rod Squad - a Fishing Gear Loan Program.

Rod Squad aims to ensure that everyone can enjoy fishing, no matter their budget or level of experience. By providing free access to rods, reels, and basic tackle, the program invites people of all ages to discover the fun of fishing while building an appreciation for New Brunswick’s natural environment and the importance of conservation.

Whether you’re trying fishing for the first time or returning to a hobby you once loved, this program offers an easy way to get started. By removing common barriers, the program encourages more people—especially youth—to get outdoors, learn new skills, and develop a lasting interest in this rewarding pastime.

Rod Squad - Fishing Gear Loan Program can be signed out with a library card from the Dorchester Memorial Public Library or Sackville Public Library during regular hours. You can also contact 506-364-4955 or bookings@tantrarmarnb.com and pick up from the Tantramar Veterans Memorial Civic Centre during regular hours.
