Matt Estabrooks is a member of the first council for the new entity of Tantramar and previously served as a councillor for the Town of Sackville. He’s a lifelong resident of Tantramar. He and his wife, Chrissy, are proud parents to three children—Alexa, Sophia, and Matthew Blair.
A highly-skilled tradesperson, Councillor Estabrooks holds Red Seal certifications as both a Carpenter and a Motorcycle Mechanic. He also earned a Certificate in Adult Education from the University of New Brunswick. His career has included teaching carpentry at NBCC Moncton, and he currently serves as the Senior Manager of Building Maintenance, Heating Plant Operations, and Fleet at Mount Allison University.
Dedicated to his community, Councillor Estabrooks has been an active volunteer with Breakfast Clubs of Canada, Sackville Minor Hockey, Sackville Minor Baseball, and the Sackville Golf Club. He stays active year-round, coaching and refereeing hockey in the winter and coaching, playing baseball, and golfing in the summer.
