Wayne Wells has lived in Tantramar his entire life. He is from Point de Bute, and attended Tantramar Regional High School before beginning a career as a mechanic.
Wayne worked as a mechanic and licensed technician for 37 years, working on heavy equipment and receiving recognition as Armour’s Technician of the Month in October 2023. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, carpentry projects and four wheeling. Wayne was also a member of the Point de Bute Fire Department for 42 years, during which time he served as Fire Chief for +15 years.
As a councillor, Wayne’s priorities are to support emergency services, and to help grow the community of Tantramar.
